明圓寺納骨堂・樹木葬『游心庵』は、宗教・宗派・国籍を問わず門戸を拡げ、様々なライフスタイルの方達が安心して眠る場として、また、今生かされている自分自身の命の意味を見つめ直す大切な場として、2015年に建立されました。

その際に、パンフレットのイラスト制作のご依頼をいただきました。

これはその表紙のイラストです。

「里山風景のイラストを」というご要望に、さらに「樹木葬エリアが素晴らしい自然と明圓寺御本堂に見守られている」という私自身のイメージを加えたいと考え、明圓寺様の『圓』に因んでひとつの円(圓)に収めることを思いつきました。そこに、植樹予定の菩提樹、ご住職様が拝むお姿や小動物が加わり、それらとタイトル文字のデザインを融合させて、この様な形に至りました。

仕上がった時に明圓寺様の坊守様より「常に明圓寺が理想としている世界観が表現されていて感激しました」という大変ありがたいお言葉をいただきました✨

"Yushin-an" Myouenji Temple

"Yushin-an",the ossuary and  the tree burial of Myouenji Temple was built in 2015 as a place where people of various lifestyles can sleep with peace of mind  regardless of religion,denomination,or nationality,and also,as a precious place to reconsider the meaning of your own life.

At that time,I received a request to create the illustrations for its pamphlet.

This is the cover illustration.

In response to the request for "A illustration of a satoyama landscape,"  I thought about adding my own image that "the tree burial area is watched over by the wonderful nature and the main hall of the Temple." I came up with the idea of putting it in one circle (圓),associated with the letter "圓".

A linden tree to be planted,the figure of the Priest praying,and small animals were added into this. Having joined the design of the title letters with them,and reached this shape.

When it was completed,  I received a very thankful word from the Nun,that "I was deeply impressed that the ideal view of the Myouenji which we always in the mind is expressed."✨
