Adobe MAX, the world biggest design conference was held at Los Angeles Convention Center from November 4th - 6th 2019. This Interactive Installation called “the Boundary” was showcased at MAX BASH, the night party which was held at the second night of Adobe MAX. I created this in a collaboration with fellow Adobe Creative Resident Amelie Satzger (Photo Artist). As the creative process, I had this idea that I wanted to design an interactive installation which converts human boundary to a different character, so made this system using TOF sensor and a visual programming language called vvvv to generate characters in real-time. The visual was projected on a 40 m wide 8 m height tent, with 3 times 20000 lumen projector. 12 m away from the tent, I located a stage where the audience could wear a green jacket and a hat to be part of Amelies photo. Motion tracking was done while people we’re dancing on the stage. Getting the chance to design an Immersive Experience for Adobe MAX Bash, even though as part of Adobe Creative Residency made me super excited, since I’ve been to this world biggest design conference 2 years in row, and I was shocked how immersive it is, and was always willing to be part of it.
