"Apocalypse World" is a personal design project created as a realistic desktop wallpaper that blends elements of worldbuilding, visual storytelling, and cinematic composition. The piece imagines a post-apocalyptic version of our real world, populated by fictional characters, brought to life through immersive lighting, shadow play, and advanced color correction techniques.
The focus of the project was to create a visually striking scene that feels as though it could leap off the screen. By layering multiple elements—real-world textures, digital painting effects, atmospheric lighting, and depth-building shadows—I aimed to produce a wallpaper that not only tells a story but also evokes emotion and curiosity in the viewer.
Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop
Purpose: Creative concept art for desktop wallpaper design and visual worldbuilding practice
Key Focus: Realism, lighting and shadow work, atmosphere creation, color grading
Result: A dramatic and immersive wallpaper that showcases my ability to blend fictional elements with realistic environments and cinematic styling.
