The starting point for this idea is a pretty personal shock, as I use my silhouette in this piece as well. I didn't notice it as a majority of Japan. But when I was in England and other cultures, I clearly realized that my attribute was a minority. For example, the increasing number of discriminatory cases under the covid pandemic and the issue of women's rights and LGBTQ rights would be a major issue in the United Kingdom but there are being still ignored in Japan.
