The law of Jante ("jantelagen" in Swedish) is a set of rules that condemn the expression of individuality and personal success. It dictates for example "don't think you're special" and "don't think you know better". It is typical for Scandinavian culture. Modesty and humility are also important in Japanese culture, and so we decided to make a rap song about jantelagen from both a Swedish and Japanese perspective.
