(Japanese article) After leaving the educational publishing company I joined straight out of university, I went to study for a postgraduate degree in Vienna, Austria—a plan I had once had to abandon due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Specialising in the study of ‘nationalism in textbooks’, I obtained my Master’s degree in June 2025. I discuss my experience of completing my studies whilst working as a career planner at SHElikes amidst a weak yen and the time difference, as well as the ‘live in the moment’ mindset I developed through the struggles of living in a foreign country. 新卒で入社した教育系出版社を退職し、コロナ禍で一度は断念したオーストリア・ウィーンの大学院へ留学。「教科書に現れるナショナリズム」を専門に研究し、2025年6月に修士号を取得しました。円安や時差の中、SHElikesのキャリアプランナーとして働きながら学業を完遂した経験や、異国の地での葛藤を経て得た「今、この瞬間を楽しむ」マインドセットについて語っています。
