He is the wickedly charismatic demon who has offered to assist Charlie Morningstar in her endeavors, albeit for his own amusement. Before being condemned, Alastor used to be a radio host in New Orleans who was sadistic at night until he was taken out by a hunter when he was mistaken for a deer. In "It's A Deal", it is revealed that Alastor's soul is owned by Rosie, who was responsible for making him the strongest sinner, and not only the reason behind his 7-year absence, but also the one who sent him to the Hotel.
