This was Kanna’s first time working at the historic Kyoto film studio. For the torture scene of FURUTAKA Shuntaro by the Shinsengumi, they used straw rope (waranawa) to match the historical period. Kanna worked closely with the action director to ensure the actor’s safety, despite the physical challenges of repeating an upside-down suspension water torture scene—covered in fake blood and bound with straw rope.
