Notably, the insurance industry had a remarkable 200% surge in new business premiums originating from Mainland visitors in 2022 alone. Additionally, nearly 100% of offshore RMB bonds find issuance in Hong Kong, frequently, experiencing oversubscription. As RMB internationalisation continues its momentum, the anticipation is for an array of diverse RMB products and services to be introduced in the Hong Kong market.
