Recently, more and more people are getting small, stylish tattoos, often in the form of illustrations. However, in Japan, tattoos are still often associated with the yakuza and crime. Like the woman I interviewed, some people get tattoos not just for style or self-expression, but as a lifelong reminder to prevent any regrets about the decisions they've made in life. It's not about showing it off to others; it's a tattoo story meant just for themselves. 最近では”オシャレタトゥー”という小さいイラストを彫る人も増えてきた、タトゥー。しかし日本では、タトゥーと言えば、ヤクザや犯罪が連想されてしまうこともまだ多いのではないか。私が取材した彼女のように、オシャレや自己表現のためだけでなく、自分の人生への決断を後悔にしないようにと一生の戒め（リマインド）のために体に刻む人がいる。別に誰かに見てもらいたいわけではない、ただ自分のためのタトゥーストーリー。
