One final last stand, if you will. Terrible puns aside, this was a fun one as it is the only song I wrote while borrowing a friend's Epiphone. He asked to borrow my 7 string Ibanez for an audition for a band, but at the time that was the only guitar I had on me so we did an temporary trade. Pokemon style. Switching from a 7 string to a 6 string for the first time in a while made everything feel so much easier to play, especially with how easy Epiphones / Gibsons are to play in general. My Ibanez 7321 has been with me for over 10 years now and while I have no plans for changing it out, I can't deny how nice the Epiphone was and would love to add one to my guitar arsenal down the line. 2024 Gibson sponsorship? On a closing not, with this last song of 2023, I completed my goal of releasing one original music video per month for one whole year. I am glad to finally be able to share a lot of my creations from 2021 and 2022, and it feels so good to have been able to complete a long standing goal of mine. Admittedly though, I'm starting to feel a bit exhausted, and it doesn't help that I tend to get seasonal depression during these months, so I might take it easy for a bit during January of next year.
